my unity desktop is invisible after upgrading to 12.10Open terminal and add the following commands (Open Terminal- Ctrl+Alt+T or Ctrl+T depending your version) for List of shortcuts visit this Post. sudo apt-get install --reinstall unity,sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop
